The lobby of the convention hotel is hopping with excitement as party members, campaign workers and supporters gather before party president Ken Zeise’s reception at 7pm. Old friends are catching up. People wearing opposing candidate’s t-shirts are talking and sharing a laugh. The scrutineers who are in for a full night of counting are taking in the last rays of sunshine before being locked in a secure room for the count. Not even a hint of animosity in the air. This is one big, refreshed and excited PC family this weekend. Regardless who wins tomorrow, this party will emerge stronger and more energized than ever.
